Responsibilities:
- Operate various binding and finishing equipment, including but not limited to saddle stitchers, perfect binders, folding machines, and guillotine cutters.
- Set up and adjust machines to achieve precise specifications for each print job.
- Monitor production processes to ensure efficiency, accuracy, and adherence to quality standards.
- Perform routine maintenance on equipment and troubleshoot issues to minimize downtime.
- Collaborate with other team members to meet project deadlines and exceed client expectations.
- Quality control of finished products to ensure they meet the highest standards.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Binding Operator in a printing and packaging environment.
- Familiarity with a variety of binding and finishing equipment.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot technical issues.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality finished products.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to work well in a collaborative team environment.
- Flexibility to work varied shifts and overtime as needed.
